Ames-Florida-Stork House

An estimated 300 people flooded the grounds of the Ames-Florida-Stork House to enjoy the sunny fall day after a week of rain. Participants carved pumpkins, made wreaths, owls, ghosts, corn husk dolls, and many other activities during the afternoon.

We're decorating the Stork House on Nov 14 at 10 a.m. for the upcoming Christmas Tea and you're welcome to come help string the garlands!

We have four kids programs planned this summer and have had a wonderful time investigating new crafts and the local history. Here are some pictures of what we have been doing.

We enjoyed the company of 16 young people at the last Kids Kamp as they learned to bead the Pe**te stitch and weave from their own loom! There's still room available at the next two activity days to register those you know aged 6-14!

About 200 people attended this event! Our volunteers logged in 111 hours of time setting up, serving, and cleaning up--thank you, thank you to them!
