Artistically Speaking

Artistically Speaking Original and Commercial Graphic Artwork for print I returned to college with focus on Interior Design. This was done as a way to relax initially.

Trained as an Air Force Aircrew Life Support Equipment Technician and later as a journalist and photojournalist, I worked in the public affairs sector. I also started my own independent interior design firm, successfully overseeing client projects that included new construction, redesign and remodel, and some commercial office space design. With some adverse health and a depressed economy, in 2003

I began writing my first novel and painting and reclaiming a love of photography. Much like a young child doodling with paint and crayons, some former clients and colleagues truly appreciated my work. Others commissioned me to create something for them, as I also assisted with various redesign and remodeling projects. I was asked to donate my contemporary floral, "Purple Posey" (painting) for a charity auction on behalf of the Easter Seals. Two of poems "Heaven" and "The Scrap booked Cowboy" were chosen to by the International Library of Poetry to be featured in their annual anthology "Immortal Verses". "Heaven" was also awarded as Editor's choice.
