Denise Dupras takes photographs in order to share the beauty of the natural world with others. She has traveled far and wide in search of memorable pictures, yet says that many of her favorite images were made in her own backyard. Loons are one of here favorite subjects and she has an entire wall full of them at the Gallery.

New artist Amy Wix says, "I grew up in the southwestern desert, surrounded by the beauty of mountains, wildlife, and desert foliage, before moving to the Rochester area in 1988. Today, I am inspired by the beauty Minnesota has to offer, especially its state parks and the North Shore.
Although I have no formal training in art, I have always been a maker, enjoying fabric and paper crafts and the sense of discovery that comes with creating something by hand. I taught middle school math for 27 years, and while planning for retirement, I discovered the world of laser art.
I love every part of the design process—from editing digital files and selecting wood to laser cutting and finishing intarsia-inspired pieces. Working with different wood species as my artistic medium allows me to create artwork that reflects and celebrates the beauty of nature."
