These classrooms lost their roofs too. Getting estimates to use metal for the new roofs.

Update on Rochester auditorium roof.
Booe Roofing will be putting on a new roof where the old roof blew off. It will lap over the old roof 6 feet. The cost is over $40,000. If anyone would like to donate to the new roof, please mail donation to Rochester Museum Inc, PO Box 148, Rochester, TX 79544.
We have hired someone to get the gas lines and water lines replaced. When we acquired the property there was a major gas leak. Haskell school had received an estimate of $35,000 to fix it. There’s also a problem with the water lines in the cafeteria and auditorium. Neither building has water.

Update on the Rochester auditorium. This is what the roof looks like after the storm. Some water inside the building but could have been SO much worse!
I am getting estimates to fix just the part that blew away and an estimate to redo the whole thing! Will keep you posted!

This is all I can get this morning of the damage to the auditorium and some of the small classroom roofs. I have to get the key to the auditorium to look inside to see if there’s any damage.

Rochester School Auditorium lost the roof in the storm tonight. I will not know the full story until morning. There is no insurance due to the cost to insure. Replacing the roof would be astronomical. Will keep you informed!
