Thank you to everyone who supported Italian Night at the Village. We seated a sold out crowd in the McMurtrey House and provided an equal number of dine out orders.

Our guests enjoyed great food in an elegant setting accompanied by relaxing background music. We even had a few guests who dressed up for the occasion!

It truly takes a “village” to make an event like this a success and we appreciate everyone that helped in any way.

A special thank you to Matt Harrison and his wife Hannah for preparing the main course. So many positive comments were given to the chef!

We look forward to seeing all of you at our next event at The Pioneer Village in Rison!

The Pioneer Village may never have a more successful fundraiser than our Jail and Bail event But until we come up with another crazy, fun idea, we are planning a lot of smaller fundraisers that will get us closer to our goal of providing our community with a climate controlled activity venue.

Coming up on October 24th is an event we’re excited to offer at the McMurtrey House at the Village.

Tickets are $20 per person for a specially prepared and served Italian dinner complete with all the Olive Garden style atmosphere and trimmings.

Call the Herald office at 870-325-6412 to make your reservation for the 5:00 or 6:30 p.m. seating or for take out orders.

We appreciate your support!
