We are starting the Black History Month Challenge. Each week we would like for everyone to do the following:
1. Learn about a Black History Maker from the past.
2. Learn about a Black History Maker in the present.
3. Attend a Black History event. (in person or virtually)

Please remember that Black History is American History, so the month of February should be used to highlight important people and moments in Black History. We should continue to learn from the past and make history for the future, everyday!

It is the weekend prior to Martin Luther King Day. Events are occurring across the country. How will you celebrate? What are your plans to learn more about Dr. King? Here are some options:
