"Serenity by the Sea" by featured artist Jane Knaus. This series of paintings reflect scenes from the ocean and wildlife on the beautiful Delaware shore. Living by the ocean has provided Jane with an endless source of subject matter. It frees her spirit, allows her to be in the moment, and be in a world of beauty and timeless peace. The exhibit runs August 14 through August 26, 2026

Encaustic works by artist Terri Yacovelli is on display at Gallery 50. Encaustic is an ancient painting technique that uses heated molten beeswax, damar resin, and colored pigments fused to a surface with a source of heat in layers. The heat source is typically a heat gun or torch. These wonderful pieces will be on display through August 12. Stop by and be amazed.

Gallery 50 Art to present "Colors in Motion" by Beth Cartland. July 17 - July 29, 2026. Each mixed media painting has its own demands that evolves and reveals itself through the process of painting.

Beth says "Abstract art, like life, is always accessible and inaccessible at the same time. Both tangible and mysterious, abstract art contains the elements of surprise and spirituality."

Gallery 50 Art will be featuring Charlie Jones, "The Travelers Palette", July 3 through July 15, 2026. Charlie is a self-taught abstract painter with over 25 years' experience working in mixed media. At the heart of Jones's process is an exploration of the intersection between color, texture, and form. He blends a wide array of materials and techniques, creating layered compositions that invite the viewers into a contemplative space.

Gallery 50 Art will be featuring "Calibrating the Seasons" by Marcia Reed. Marcia is sharing a lens into the process of an ongoing series based in nature along the river and coastal region of southern Delaware. The paintings and works on paper are centered on the four seasons and natures pulse from winter to summer. The exhibition will be on display June 19 through July 1, 2026. Marcia will be in the gallery June 19 from 6 to 7pm.

Gallery 50 to present "A Lifestyle at the Beach" by Thom Millsap. This series of bright, colorful paintings reflects on a lifestyle of choice. It tells you a story of people that choose to live by the ocean. You will see different , colorful wooden cottages with porches, rocking chairs, potted plants, chairs on the beach with bikes, boats and cattails. Playful happy places that express the spirit of a lifestyle at the beach. The exhibit runs June 5 through June 17.

On display in the gallery through June 3. A wonderful collection of photography by Bruce Clayton. Cuba and Rehoboth Beach are two of Bruce's favorite places and he has captured the spirit of both through the lens. Friday and Saturday 10am to 9pm, Sunday 11am to 6pm, Monday and Tuesday 10am to 6pm.

It is with a sad heart to learn of the passing of Caroline Huff. Caroline wasn't just part of the Gallery 50 artist family, she was a friend. A very dear sweet friend who left a lasting impression on you. An impression so big that many of her students would call or stop by the gallery wanting to reconnect with her. We will forever miss you, until we meet again.

A collection of photography that reflects Bruce's love of Cuba and Rehoboth Beach - Two distinct cultures, whose people share a proud resilience, and a common love for the shores that shape them.
