Redfield College Women's Basketball team in 1907. Wouldn't it be restricting playing ball in those uniforms? A lot of people didn't know Redfield had a college. It opened in 1887 and closed in 1932. It was affiliated with the Congregational Church. Laura Ingalls younger sister, Grace, attended college here.

Train Day is almost here! Join us June 13th for a fun filled day of activities. There will be free barrel train rides, putt putt cars, live music and ice cream. There will also be ballgames, activities on Main Street and the Spink County Museum will be open. The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends with a fireworks display at dusk. See you there!!!
