All are welcome to join us this Thursday, July 18th, from 5-7PM at VERSE Work/Shop for an AFTER HOURS celebration of our fifth show, โTalk Shop 5.0โ. AFTER HOURS events are informal gatherings hosted at VERSE Work/Shop, offering an opportunity for community members to engage with the artists and makers behind the work. Please join us to enjoy a refreshment, meet the makers, and โtalk shopโ as you explore this incredible collection.
Talk Shop 5.0 features new work by BKMC (The Brooklyn Millinery Company), Jennifer Blaikie, Gabe Brown, Juliana Cho, Valerie Fanarjian, Suzan Globus, Erin Luman, Ginny Redgate (Public Stoneware), and Yung-wu. This show, which opened June 6th and remains on view thru September 1st, is a diverse array of artwork including, fiber sculpture, oil and acrylic painting, stoneware and bark composed sculpture, hand-crafted millinery and ceramics. Highly curated vignettes composed of bespoke furniture, textiles, jewelry and lighting fixtures create a domesticated gallery setting layered in texture, color and light.
