From home prayer meetings in 1917 to a thriving church today—Richmond Pentecostal Church is built on a legacy of faith.

Through revivals, baptisms in Presley Pond, and generations of faithful leadership, God has continued to move in this community. From Brother T.C. Montgomery and Sister Mamie Sartin to Brother G.H. Hill, the R***r family and now the Pierce family, each generation has carried the truth forward.

Today, they continue building on that foundation—grateful for their heritage and excited for what’s ahead.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers who have shaped our lives and our faith.

Across the Mississippi District, countless women have prayed, taught, sacrificed, and stood faithfully behind the work of God—leaving a legacy that still impacts us today. Their lives are a vital part of our Pentecostal history.

Today, we honor and celebrate the mothers whose faith helped build the foundation we stand on.

Behind so many great moves of God are women whose names may never be widely known—but Heaven knows them well.

Mothers of the Gospel have prayed when no one else saw, believed when others doubted, and sacrificed so the message of truth could go forward. They raised children in truth, supported ministries, taught Bible studies, and helped build churches from the ground up.

Their faith didn’t just shape families—it shaped generations.

Today, we honor the mothers who have carried the Gospel with strength, grace, and unwavering devotion. Your prayers, your tears, and your faithfulness matter more than words can express.

We’d love to hear your story—
