We have been very busy this first week of the 2026 season, so I have fallen behind. Friday, May 22nd was our Clean the Prison Day! I want to thank all of the wonderful people who volunteered their time to get our Prison ready for the 418 visitors we have had so far.

We are open for our Full Season! Memorial Day-Labor Day, seven days a week with eight tours a day! Come Do Time with Us ...

As of 12:40 am Rawlins is still without power. We will remain closed on Tuesday, May 19th. We need to clean up and hopefully warm up after yesterday's storm. Thank you for understanding! We have our Reception and Liquor Tasting on Thursday evening and we open for our Full Season on Saturday!

It is 29° but feels like 14° but all of Rawlins is getting cold because our electricity has been out for several hours already and not expected back on until 2:30 pm. We hope everyone stays safe and warm! Please send out best wishes to our emergency crews, snowplow drivers, and the linemen and women working to restore our power! At least the Prison is still beautiful.
