SORRY!!!! WE DON'T DO TEXT'S/& DON'T KNOW HOW TO CHECK VOICE MAILS EITHER!

CELL SERVICE IS SO BAD HERE WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ANSWER THE CALL, AS IT TAKES OVER 1 MINUTE TO JUST GET THE SWIPE TO WORK.

SO, WE WILL HAVE TO CALL YOU BACK.

THE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY THAT DAMAGED THE LINE IS IN BIGGGGGGGGG TROUBLE.

The phone company said it may take another week to get it fixed.

THOUSANDS ARE WITHOUT PHONE SERVICE!

P.S. WE ARE ALREADY GETTING SPAM CALLS, & THEY DON'T GET ANSWERED. THE SCUMBAGS WHO ARE TRYING TO SCAM SHOULD BE DROPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF IRAN, WITH A SCUD MISSLE STRAPPED TO THEM.

Saturday morning at the barbershop was never just about getting a haircut.

You sat in that big chair while the barber worked the scissors, the older men read the paper, and everybody in the room seemed to have an opinion about your hair.

If the cut came out a little shorter than expected, somebody noticed.

Then somebody said something.

And before long, the whole shop was laughing.

But you learned pretty quickly that the best thing to do was grin, throw a joke right back, and carry on.

Nobody was trying to ruin your day. That was simply how people talked when they knew one another. The barber had probably cut your father’s hair, your grandfather had a regular chair, and half the town had been sitting in that same waiting area for years.

You heard stories about bad bosses, broken-down cars, hard times, missed chances, and the kind of weeks that would test anybody.

The answer was usually the same:

Get up tomorrow and keep going.

A haircut might only take twenty minutes, but a boy could leave that shop with a little more confidence, a little thicker skin, and one good comeback ready for next Saturday.

Those old barbershops had a way of teaching things that were never written on the price board.

MARV POTTHOFF's 1937 PONTIAC IS ALMOST READY TO DISPLAY IN THE MUSEUM!
As many of you know, we here at the museum Love OLD HOT RODS!
A beautifully preserved Hot Rod from the 1970's has come to be our newest member of our family.
This 1937 Pontiac Deluxe Coupe Street Rod was built by our friend, Marv Potthoff. He Loved Hot Rods & Motorcycles, and his family. Marv passed away about 20yrs ago.
Marv gave this car to his daughter Brenda before his passing. Brenda and her husband faithfully took care of the Pontiac these past 20 yrs.

Recently, Brenda emailed us about buying the coupe. We felt honored that she would contact us, and we agreed to buy the Pontiac. THANK YOU BRENDA.

Quite a little TLC, and the coupe was up and running great again! 327 Chevy V8, Auto Transmission.

The rest is genuine OLD SKOOL HOT ROD. WE WILL NOT RESTORE THIS CAR. AS IT IS A PERFECT TIME CAPSULE FROM THE 70's.

We are thrilled that Marv, who was a good friend of ours, will know that his car will be at the museum for his friends and family to come and enjoy this Rare Car.
