Jane Scott Watercolors

Jane Scott Watercolors I am a watercolor artist living in beautiful northern New Mexico. Much of my work is inspired by the extraodinary landscape which surounds me.

This stunning view greets you as you come in to Taos from Santa Fe. On this particular day a storm was passing over creating a dramatic view of sky and land.

This is a small color study of a house nestled in the mountains in Pilar. Below the rocks and not in the painting runs the Rio Grande.

Last week-end was the annual Holiday Arts and Crafts fair here in Taos. The weather did not prevent folks from coming out to the show which attracted both locals and visitors. Doug and I shared a booth, he had his beautiful hand-crafted pens on display and I offered both giclees and winter greeting cards for sale. All my greeting cards sold and a good number of giclees. The best part of the show was having the opportunity to meet and connect with people from all over the country who stopped by to see our work and talk about their love of all things artsy.

Welcome to my new page. You can see my watercolors at www.janescottwatercolors.com which is currently under construction. I will be adding new paintings and blogging on an ongoing basis. Be sure to check in. Thanks!

This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:
