To our Raeford and Hoke County community, the Raeford-Hoke Museum would like to personally thank each and every one of you for your recent outpouring of love and support. Since our board member Ellen McNeill made her post regarding needing volunteers to aid us opening on Saturdays and Sundays, so many have reach out to aid us in many different capacities.

For anyone who has reached out, or would like to learn about volunteering with the Museum, we invite you to attend our next meeting, which is scheduled for December 16th at the McLaughlin-McFayden House at 5:30PM in the Dining Room.

Come one, come all to the Raeford Museum on April 19th!
We will be having a cruise in, 50/50 raffle, and yard sale, and are renting spaces/tables to individuals for $25.00 for non-food, and 50.00 for food/beverage vendors.

We recommend individuals bring their own tables/chairs as we have a limited amount to provide. If you would like to rent a table from the Museum, there is an additional 10.00 cost.

All proceeds from space/table rentals are going to benefit the Raeford-Hoke Museum and the Hoke County Public Library.

On August 15th, at 2:00 PM, the Raeford-Hoke Museum will be hosting Marion Elliott Deerhake, author of a book about a local legend, Eliza Jane Pratt.

Although she was born in Morven, NC, Jane Pratt was raised in Raeford, NC for a good portion of her childhood. From our small town, she went on to become the first congresswoman elected from North Carolina to the US House of Representatives!

To learn more about Ms. Pratt, please join us for this FREE event which will be held in the Parker-Ray House at the Museum!

Hello All!

Please be advised that the Raeford Hoke Museum will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays for the remainder of January into February.

We will still keep our normal hours on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10am until 2pm during this time.

Hello all! In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. day, the Raeford-Hoke Museum will be closed on Monday, January 15th. We will reopen for normal hours on Tuesday, January 16th from 10am to 2pm.
