Quincy's community heritage site, with the 1904 Reiman Simmons House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 1904 restored Pioneer Church (first church building in Quincy), and the beautiful Community Heritage Barn. Interactive exhibits, Mondays at the Museum (livestream programs) and public festivals. Our volunteer organization is committed to helping all generations learn and celebrate our amazing heritage of immigrants and agriculture!

As we are reflecting on our fathers today, here are five of the founding "fathers" of the USA.
1. George Washington — Commander of the Continental Army during the American Revolution and the first U.S. president.
2. Thomas Jefferson — Wrote most of the Declaration of Independence and later became the third president.
3. John Adams — Key advocate for independence and an important diplomat during the Revolution.
4. Benjamin Franklin — Influential diplomat, writer, scientist, and signer of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
5. James Madison — Known as the “Father of the Constitution” for his central role in drafting and promoting it.
