Research is progressing nicely on our upcoming book about Quasky's connection to the Civil War. We would like to honor these men by including their photos. Please check your family albums for photos of your ancestors that fought in the war! Group photos would also be appreciated.

While the weather is too hot to be outside, freshen up your knowledge of our local history. Take the time to do a search or just look at on our new digital files: https://quasqueton.historyarchives.online/
Keep in mind that the scrapbook files are truly that and the date on the link is not always correct. For the scrapbook information it works best if you do not enter dates in your search, but just click each link as they are found. Many have the dates at the top of the column that they are in, but some do not. These scrapbooks were generously shared with us by the Buchanan County Genealogical Society in Independence. Enjoy your summer!
