Today we're spotlighting a Quartzsite gem that's not yet a Chamber member — but we're hoping to change that soon!
Gunny's Military Museum is a labor of love built by "Gunny" (Robert St. Germaine), a retired U.S. Marine who's spent years collecting and displaying uniforms, patches, and memorabilia from every era. It's donation-based, so admission is by whatever you're able to give — and the collection changes seasonally, so there's always something new to see. Gunny welcomes over 3,000 visitors a year and loves walking guests through the collection personally.
Right now, Gunny's putting the finishing touches on a brand-new Navy display, including a Chaplain's uniform and a Lieutenant's with jump wings — ready by September 1st!

This Flag came from 1stSgt William Novack. He fought on Iwo Jima and received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was with 2nd Bn, 24th Marines, 4th MARDIV. There are approximately 24 signatures on the Flag. There are still a couple of signatures to figure out.
