Planning a visit this summer? 😎☀️
Beat the heat at the museum! 🥵
Our historic mansion was built long before modern air conditioning. As outdoor temperatures rise, temperatures inside the museum rise as well, especially on the upper floors.
For the most comfortable experience, we recommend visiting before 1:00 - 1:30 PM, particularly on very hot days.
We want every guest to have an enjoyable visit, so please plan accordingly, stay hydrated, & dress comfortably for the weather.

Hey Friends,
Don't forget, wedding attire is on display throughout the museum from now until July 18th. Take a look at each dress while you're on your regular guided tour. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday at 10am to 2:30pm. Typically a tour starts every half-hour. Regular admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors (60yrs+), & $4 for kids (6-17yrs).
Do you just want to take a look at the dresses and not take a full tour?...Admission will be $5 per person. For more info please call the museum 719-545-5290.

Set within a world of decaying elegance, this production invites audiences into an investigation where testimony cannot be trusted and truth changes depending on who is asking the questions.

Night Terrors 2026 - A new immersive theatrical experience is seeking performers for a gothic mystery blending psychological horror, speculative fiction, audience interaction, and nonlinear storytelling.

We are looking for actors, improvisers, immersive performers, movement artists, and fearless collaborators interested in:

⚡ live audience interaction

This is not traditional theatre.
Audiences won’t simply watch the story unfold. They’ll become part of the investigation.

🕯 AUDITIONS OPEN 🕯

Searcher Collective is seeking performers for a new immersive theatrical experience blending gothic horror, speculative fiction, psychological mystery, and audience-driven storytelling.

This production will take place inside a 160-year-old house transformed into a living investigation of memory, identity, hidden histories, and unstable truth.

Audiences will not sit and observe from a distance.
They will move through the story.
Question witnesses.
Discover fragments.
Choose who to trust.
And possibly alter what is real.

We are seeking bold, collaborative performers comfortable with:
⚙ immersive theatre
🩸 improvisation
🕯 audience interaction
📼 nonlinear storytelling
⚡ atmospheric performance
🎭 psychologically layered characters

We are especially interested in actors capable of mystery, emotional intelligence, unpredictability, and sustained presence under pressure.

This project blends:
• gothic noir
• speculative fiction
• immersive investigation
• fractured memory
• decaying elegance
• hidden technology beneath antique surfaces

Initial auditions will be submitted by video due by June 15, 2026.

This is a paid gig set up as a profit share.
