What a great Pueblo fact! We 💖 PUEBLO!

Rest in peace to our Queen, Dolly Parton 💖

IN PUEBLO - DOLLY PARTON PLAYED MUSIC WITH KENNY ROGERS IN 1977 AT STATE FAIR IN PUEBLO - Locals are accustomed to having famous singers in town at least once a year due to being the host town of the State Fair.

Dolly Parton sadly died at the age of 80 and we wondered was she ever in Pueblo?

The answer is yes… in 1977, she played with Kenny Rogers at the State Fair in Pueblo, according to an old article by the Chieftain in Google.

She is also connected to Pueblo and many towns throughout the US due to her early childhood literacy initiative, which delivers free books to young children.

May she RIP, pronounced dead due to terminal cancer at the age of 80 on Aug 25.

Just a little reminder, my friends!🥳✨
