🌟 Nominate Today for the 2026 Faces of CF&I Hall of Fame 🌟
Do you know someone who worked for Colorado Fuel & Iron before 1993 and made a lasting impact? Now is your chance to help honor them.
The Steelworks Center of the West is accepting nominations for the 2026 Faces of CF&I Hall of Fame, where we celebrate the legacy of the men and women who helped shape the industrial West.

✅ Nominations must include a biographical overview, detailed narrative, and photo

✅ Posthumous nominations are welcome and a relative or friend may accept the honor

✅ Deadline is Friday November 7 2025 at 3:00 PM

Team Up to Clean Up event is on Saturday, October 18th from 8am until 3pm.

Don't miss out on three different locations including:
Colorado State University Pueblo and Colorado State Fair for household trash, bagged grass and leaves, up to 9 tires off the rim, large items and more.

A third location at RecycleWorks is offered for yard waste like tree branches and shrubs, but must be unboxed and unbagged.

No oversized trucks, no commercial vehicles, no electronics, no hazardous material and no concrete supplies can be disposed of at this event. This event is FREE and open to City of Pueblo residents, please bring an ID or utility bill with your city address.

The museum will be closed today. Come see us at our booth with our friends with the Pueblo Heritage Museum at the Pueblo Chile & Frijoles Festival!

The Steelworks Museum and Archives will be closed for the remainder of the week. We will reopen next Tuesday September 23.
