Hey everyone, Sage here. I come to you tonight with a heavy heart and an important announcement: December is the last month to visit the Misfit Gallery.

It’s been such an honor to serve Provo and provide a safe space to express yourself and your art freely and without judgement. It’s been magic to host .entropy and and so many other incredible artists and performers like and and and just too many others to do justice.

And while this hiatus is necessary to do some healing and reflection and recoup from some tough personal losses, it also provides a chance to do the thing I love the most: make new art.

We have loved having you. We will miss you. And one day we’ll be back.

(PS don’t forget to attend our final Art Unveiling event tomorrow at 7pm - with live music!! - and keep an eye out for some special events to close out the month. )

Hey all - holidays are hard and holding space for trauma informed art is also hard. Remember: there’s no shame in taking breaks when things get heavy. So instead of displaying art this weekend we are going to be making some new art and we look forward to showing it to you next weekend. Be safe - know you are loved - and reach out to someone you haven’t spoken to in a while. You never know how badly they could need that connection.

He Will Destroy Her: Polygamy, the New and Everlasting Covenant

Our November show is live featuring powerful works by and - Each tells a story, each explores the complicated, painful and in some cases hopeful realities of being raised a woman in the church, the latest in the long unbroken chain of our female ancestors whose bravery and goodness deserves to be honored.

Come see us every weekend - and special thanks to all who attended our opening and especially to the participating artists.

We are so excited to announced our newest installation that (officially) goes live Sunday! Behind the Phone Booth is a collaboration with local music legend and textile artist that celebrates the release of Mindy’s newest album “The Phone Booth Sessions Vol.1”.

Come by this weekend to get a sneak preview of this incredible behind the scenes journey into Mindy’s creative process, original album art, personal items and inspiration.

We are so excited to host and honor Mindy whose music means so much to so many of us.
