Mid-Ocean Studio is a team of artists who combine their unique talents to produce Public Art that represents and enlivens community space. With over 50 successfully completed projects, we have a lengthy history of working harmoniously with a wide range of architects, engineers, landscape architects, and lighting designers. rt for over thirty years. Mid-Ocean Studio works in stainless steel, fiberglass, aluminum, bronze, glass, and polycarbonate. We create structures that are strong, luminous, and require little to no maintenance. We have experience with solar power, LED lighting, temperature responsive technology, and interactive electronics. Our project Bayliss Park in Council Bluffs, Iowa was named one of the “10 Best Public Spaces in America 2014” by the American Planning Association. Mid-Ocean created the park’s centerpiece fountain, performance space
, Children’s Park with climbable art, and an interactive water feature.
