CW Post had a vision for a utopian society when he began building Post, Texas.

Some of us STILL believe in that vision. When I (Paula) created this graphic, I was unaware of the two spellings for the word "utopia". I chose the alternate spelling for this reason: Utopia represents an idealized, often unattainable society, while eutopia signifies a good, achievable society focused on practical improvements.

I believe change can happen when we come together, joining hands for a common good. Whether it is cleaning up neighborhoods, lending a helping hand to our neighbor, supporting a local business, visiting the two museums, local restaurants, singing at the nursing home on Sundays, and a plethora of other positive actions, we can build a strong community, a quality society of citizens that support, love, and encourage each other to be the best we can be.

And I hope it starts right here...at the Garza County Historical Museum and spreads outward like a beacon of hope and change.
