The Candyland Children’s Museum, located in the heart of the Historic Boneyfiddle District in Portsmouth, Ohio, offers three floors of discovery-based learning and play for children ages birth to ten (all ages welcome!). Adults: $10
Children (over 1 year old): $10
Infants (under 12 months old): Free
Memory Maker* Adults & Children (over 1 year old): $2

*Memory Maker tickets are available to EBT/WIC/PEBT card holders and are not available to purchase online. Please bring your EBT/WIC/PEBT card to the museum to show at purchase. Military and Senior (65+) discounts are available at the museum for daily tickets.

Hey parents of tweens and teens 👋 — if your child is constantly saying they want more independence, more responsibility, or a way to make their own spending money… this is exactly the kind of opportunity that helps build those skills. 💪

Our Candyland Caregivers Club: Babysitter Bootcamp was created to help rising 6th–10th graders grow in confidence while learning real-world skills they can actually use.

In just one day, they’ll learn:
🩹 CPR basics + First Aid
🍎 Safe snack prep for kids
📋 Communication + professionalism
🎨 How to market themselves as a babysitter
⭐ Leadership, responsibility, and confidence

Babysitting is often one of the very first jobs a young teen can have — and this camp helps them feel prepared before taking on that responsibility. 🙌 Whether your child wants to babysit this summer, build experience for future opportunities, or simply grow in confidence and maturity, this is such a valuable experience for them.
