Koboku Bonsai Studio, run by native Mainer Aaron Bowden, is dedicated to the cultivation, education and preservation of the timeless living art of bonsai. In addition, Aaron is a master potter, musician/singer, and artist. The Koboku Bonsai Studio gives him the opportunity to create art in many different forms: living trees, music, fine pottery and visual art.

Koboku Bonsai Art and Pottery Page will be closing. Thank you for your support and interest in the art of bonsai.
My nursery is up for sale and no that doesn’t mean everything is for cheap but I will hav good prices and all my older and Yamadori collection is up for professional auction type bids. I expected to have a quick buy out!

Update: So, While Bonsai were in Winter storage I came to a shocking realization that red squirrels are evil mischievous critters.
Last years new branches are chewed clean threw right to the wires and still look attached, all in the worst places in my design.
I can only hope he/she chewed a wire and that stopped further damage that I can’t find.
All trees are outside now, thank goodness!

This springs wiring and new flush of growth. Front and back photos taken today. Amazing results in the ramification and wire placement. It’s paying off. I’m trilled!!
