"Cinnamon Dolce Latte with Sprinkle" is a beautiful fusion of kiln-formed glass and fiber. Using Kiln slumped glass stringers woven with waxed linen, Candace creates vessels inspired by the interconnectedness of cultures, traditions, and communities.

I love how her work combines technical mastery with a meaningful message about diversity and connection.

I'm delighted to share Music on the Bridge, a beautiful zinc plate etching by Egor Shokoladov.

Egor is a passionate printmaker whose Eastern European training is evident throughout his work. His mastery of the etching process allows him to achieve extraordinary detail, atmosphere, and storytelling, creating images that reward a closer look.

As someone who deeply appreciates fine printmaking, I find Egor's work stunning. The richness of line, texture, and craftsmanship shines through in every print.

Introducing Dan Broxon (Bronze Cast), the newest exclusive addition to GO Gallery's collection of Pacific Northwest artists. Working in the ancient art of lost-wax bronze casting, Dan creates sculptures inspired by Late Neolithic burial figures and ceremonial objects.
Shown here is "Ethereal Urn, a bronze vessel with a threaded bronze plug that beautifully bridges ancient tradition and contemporary sculpture.

Michael Southern copper plate etchings now available online.
One of the joys of running GO Gallery is championing artists whose mastery of their craft deserves a wider audience. Michael Southern is one of those artists.
I first became acquainted with Michael's work at Guardino Gallery when he was living and printing in Portland. Since then, he has relocated to New Zealand. His prints are rich with detail, atmosphere, and the kind of technical excellence that only comes from years of commitment copper plate etching. These days, his focus in more with painting landscapes.
I have handled a lot of printmaking over the years, and Michael's etchings continue to impress me. They reward close looking, revealing layer upon layer of carefully considered marks and beautiful craftsmanship.
I currently have three of Michael's prints available through GO Gallery.

Dennis Anderson is one of Portland's most accomplished genre painters, finding beauty and meaning in the ordinary moments of everyday life.
Rooted in the tradition of observational painting, Anderson studied classical drawing and anatomy and was fortunate to receive mentorship from renowned Bay Area figurative painter Richard Diebenkorn. His work balances naturalism and abstraction, transforming familiar streets, interiors, and quiet corners of Portland into thoughtful studies of light, color, and atmosphere.

Nanette Wallace, a master monotype printmaker whom I consider one of the true legends of the medium. I call her the "one pull wonder".

Nanette has an incredible ability to pull multiple layers and colors from a single inked plate, She’s a painter that has mastered layering different viscosity inks onto plexiglass. She moves the ink with q-tips and other materials and pulls the paper one time, as opposed to several pulls for several colors to get her masterpieces.
I'm fortunate to still have one framed print from her in the collection. In my opinion, Nanette is among the finest monotype printmakers working today, and it's always a pleasure to share her work.

Just in: the last available print of Hibiki Miyazaki’s "Natural Selection".
I recently picked up Hibiki Miyazaki’s last available print of “Natural Selection” from a closed edition. This piece is so remarkable that I felt compelled to take up close photos.
Hibiki’s mastery of intaglio printmaking is extraordinary—her intricate detail, technical precision, and poetic imagery make her one of Oregon’s true artistic treasures.

I’m excited to share that I recently received two new copper plate etchings from Fran Lee. “Squirrel Girl” and “Hug Me” have just been added to the GO Gallery website (link in bio) and are now available for purchase. It was great to have Fran drop by my print studio which is now open to the public by appointment.

Very excited to receive new prints from Margaret Van Patten for GO Gallery Seen here is her etching “Reminiscences”. You can also see Margaret’s work in a current exhibition at the Portland Art Museum called : Inkling Studio: Community and Printmaking in Portland, 1981–2009”
Inkling Studio occupied a storefront on SW Corbett for more than 25 years and became one of Portland’s most important collaborative printmaking spaces. More than 100 artists worked through the studio over the decades, creating an environment rooted in mentorship, experimentation, and community. You can see her entire catalog of prints online.
