In 2007, the Portage Community Historical Society (Indiana) received a grant to install sidewalks at their Historical complex. The Community Fund, where this grant came from, responds to the community's changing opportunities and challenges over time. This unrestricted fund pools the generosity of people from throughout our county to create a powerful gift for our community that keeps on giving...forever."
