Nature's Art Studio

Nature's Art Studio I love exploring the natural world. I enjoy hiking, traveling, photography and gardening. The inspiration for my art comes from the beauty of nature around me.

My batiks are created on Ginwashi Rice Paper with a multi-layering technique of watercolor and wax. The rice paper is semi-transparent, with small fibers running through it. This paper gives the batiks a beautiful texture and a unique natural look. I have deckled the edges which finishes it with a feathery touch. I like bringing a bit of nature indoors.
