. Just finished this quilted Maple heart. I love this grain pattern. I hardly ever get Maple like this. I've had this piece for years. I was able to cut the original piece in half and will be making one going the other way. And I like this long slender design.

. Just finished one more Black Walnut/graft/English Walnut heart. I had gotten a huge slab that this is the last piece of. I was able to work it down to slabs and this one and the last one were the last of it. They show the grafted area or the grayish area in the middle the best of all of the pieces that I got out of it.

. Just finished this spalted Maple heart. I love the colors and grain pattern. And there's a bit of bark area on the left and right lobes. This is one of the thickest pieces that I've carved. There's one in progress photo and a short video.

. Just finished this Redwood heart wall hanging. I started naming the hearts and this one is "Tides of Time". The Redwood came off of the beach north of Port Orford. It really has a great grain pattern. There's 8 photos of it from different angles and some close ups. And there's a short video of it.

. Just finished this unique Walnut heart. I believe the cream colored center is the result of where the original English Walnut was grafted to a Black Walnut, which is usually done since the Black Walnut has a better root structure than an English Walnut and the English nut is more productive than a Black Walnut. Black Walnuts are very difficult to shell. There's one in progress photo along with various close ups, several different angles, and a short video of it. There's also a photo of me working and one of my shop/gallery.
