Tonight, the Children’s Museum of Pooler Outreach Team visited the Ronald McDonald House Coastal Empire, where parents of hospitalized children enjoyed painting fall wood slice decorations. We also sent some fun STEM Ballooning Spider kits for the activity cart at the Memorial Health Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children's Hospital of Savannah for the kiddos to enjoy! 🕷️

One mom shared that simply being able to sit, decompress, and paint was “the highlight of her month.” ❤️

Moments like these remind us that children’s museums are about so much more than play. They are about connection, creativity, learning, and supporting the well-being of children and families, especially when they need it most.

This is the power of play, and why our mission matters both inside the museum and throughout our community.

Where play meets purpose.
