Beginning September 1st, screenings of the new Route 66 documentary will held in various locations along the Route, including live Q&A with filmmaker John Paget.

Illinois locations include:

Route 66 Association of Illinois Annual Picnic

August 9 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm CDT

All are cordially invited to attend our annual Association picnic on Sunday, August 9, 2026 to be held at the main pavilion of the beautiful park in Godley, IL, at 500 S. Kankakee Street (right off Route 66), starting at 10:00 a.m.

Catered lunch will be served at noon, followed by bingo at 2:00 p.m.

Our picnic is free of charge; the Association provides food, water, iced tea, and lemonade. You may bring any other soft drink; no alcohol is permitted. Feel free to bring an appetizer or dessert to share if you’d like.
