The finished doll. She will be for sale at Festival of Trees at the Art Center in Gualala, CA & then at Coast Highway Art Collective for Home Town Holidays, on December 6th in Point Arena, CA if she didn’t sell at the art center. I’m making 2 more dolls, different than this one, but they won’t be finished til after these two events. For the next few days I’m working on the alphabet books I need to finish for the Book Arts event at Sea Ranch, which happens on December 6th also. Just a bit busy. 🙀

This is a doll I’m working on finishing this spring. Stuffing it with wool I’m carding, which is taking a long time. I’m using carding combs that were my mom’s. The clothing will be the silk taffeta, antique lace, & wide vintage woven trim, which are pictured with the doll parts.

7 alphabet books. Just need to glue the blocks into the covers. Then they are finished. They will be at the bookstore in Gualala, CA. I’ll let you know when the reading & signing is happening. Yay!

My printing press. I bought this last weekend at the the Printers Fair in Southern California. Still need to get rollers, but very excited about this. I’ve wanted a press for about 20 years, & finally the opportunity presented itself. I have plans.

I’ve been working like crazy on my granddaughter’s wedding dress. This is the corset I made to go underneath the dress. I’ll post more photos after the wedding, which happens toward the end of June. Padding out a dress form now, so I have an approximation of her body. She lives around 2000 miles from where I am.

This teddy bear & several more will be at Coast Highway Art Collective in Point Arena, CA December 10th, for Home Town Holidays. He stands approximately 10” tall, a tiny bear.
