The Costen House Museum

The Costen House Museum was open for Pocomoke’s 4th Friday last night but due to the weather we only had 1 visitor.

We also had a spot selling ice cream and t-shirts downtown. The weather kept potential customers home, so we had no sales.

The good news is that after the rain stopped, there was a beautiful rainbow:

Pocomoke’s 4th Friday event is tomorrow and the Costen House will be open for visitors. Please stop by for a free self guided tour.

We will also have a spot on Market Street near Wulfhause Productions - we will be selling ice cream and our T-shirts!

Fundraiser T-shirts are available at the Christmas Sweet and the Enchanted Florist in downtown Pocomoke City.

So far we’ve sold a total of 5 shirts with 19 more to meet our goal.

Hi Friends:
We recently sent out our annual membership drive letters. We sure hope you will continue to support our efforts at the Costen House Museum. We strive throughout the year to raise enough money to keep the maintenance up on this old home and provide for insurance and other expenses.

Also, remember we have a new T-shirt created for fundraising that is available at the Christmas Sweet and the Enchanted Florist Pocomoke in downtown Pocomoke City. Buying the shirt helps in two ways: provides additional income for our efforts, and helps to promote our museum to those that aren't familiar with it resulting in future tour groups.

Homes should be based in Pocomoke City and decorated in Christmas finery for the tour. Exact date has not been determined but will be in November/December.
