Our Culinary Training Program is a hands-on program that teaches clients real-world culinary skills: food prep, kitchen safety, food handling, and customer service.

Even better, our trainees are putting those skills to work every day. They help prepare and serve about 50 snacks and 50 lunches daily, offered free to the individuals we serve. That means building job skills while nourishing their peers and community.

This program is about more than cooking. It’s about independence, purpose, and opening doors to jobs in restaurants, catering, and food service.

Flash Back Friday to our 2026 Client Appreciation Celebration!

A HUGE thank you to Violet Daisy Rentals for their incredibly generous contribution of large scale party games that helped make our carnival celebration so much fun!

The individuals we serve had a blast trying their hand at safe axe throwing, giant Tetris, giant Connect Four, and so many other fun games. The games were a huge hit and helped create the festive carnival atmosphere that everyone is STILL talking about!

Board Member Spotlight: For the past eight years, Trisha Kammerer has generously served on MORE’s Board of Directors, bringing her experience in community banking and a strong commitment to the people MORE serves.
When asked what inspired her to join the board, Trisha’s answer was simple: “The clients.”

After being involved with MORE even before joining the board, Trisha has continued to support our mission and our community in countless ways. One of her favorite memories—and an achievement she is especially proud of—is MORE’s Chili Cook-Off!

We are grateful for Trisha’s eight years of leadership, service and dedication to MORE and, most importantly, to the incredible individuals at the heart of our organization.
