For various reasons Bob Priddy, Coach Don Osborn and Roberto Clemente were unable to be in the team photo shot at Forbes Field.
So, naturally, they just cut and pasted (literally) the players in.

The Museum received a surprise visit from members of the National Puerto Rican Motorcycle Association (NPRMA), an active cultural and social organization based in Chicago's Humboldt Park. It was a great visit from a group that's deeply rooted in Chicago's Puerto Rican community.

On this day in 1955 Roberto Clemente beings wearing number 21 with the Pirates.
After about seven weeks of Roberto wearing 13, Earl Smith is optioned to the minors and Clemente's iconic 21 is freed up.
