The Kelso Museum has its roots in a program of archeological field work in the Near East that began in 1924. Artifacts in the collection include ceramics, metal, stone and organic materials that date from prehistoric to early Islamic times. Exhibits explore continuity and change in many aspects of daily life: settlement patterns, agriculture, technologies and crafts, trade and writing systems and

practices. The collection and associated archives are available to scholars and students for research. Visitors of all ages are welcome to browse the exhibits or to arrange a tour. Visit us:
The MUSEUM IS OPEN Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. BY APPOINTMENT only. To make an appointment, call the Museum at 412-924-1395 or complete the online reservation form. Reservations must be made by 3:00 p.m. the day before the scheduled visit, and visitors must receive confirmation of an approved visit before arriving. Normal Hours:
