A heartfelt thank you to the wife and son of Robert, former President of the North Hills Art Center, for their generous donation of yarn! 🧶 We’re grateful for their family’s continued support of our creative community.

We’re committed to sourcing materials for our members to explore, create, and bring their ideas to life. Donations like this help make those opportunities possible. Thank you for helping keep creativity growing at NHAC!

Landscape Weaving with Ruthann Farinacci is one of the most inventive ways of art making using a wooden frame and yarn to make magical landscapes.

We’re excited to announce Michael Marano’s upcoming exhibition, Nature Unmasked.

What makes this show especially meaningful to us is that it will be Michael’s first exhibition, and that’s exactly what we’re here to do: give artists a platform to take that first step.

Beyond presenting new work, this exhibition creates an opportunity for Michael to experience the full process of developing a show, from curatorial thinking and installation to presenting his work in a professional gallery setting.

We’re proud to support artists as they build their practice, find their voice, and gain the experience to take their work into the world.

Nature Unmasked — coming soon.

The North Hills Art Center is proud to announce the appointment of Asa Eric Sloss, PhD, as Executive Director.

As an artist, curator, printmaker, and arts administrator, Asa brings a community-centered philosophy to the Art Center: put artists and instructors first, listen to the community, and build the support and structure needed for a strong future.

His vision is to honor the grassroots spirit that has made the North Hills Art Center special for generations while embracing new opportunities for growth, creativity, and connection.

That means strengthening support for our instructors, expanding meaningful membership benefits, developing a collaborative and friendly staff, and creating organizational processes where everyone has a voice and feels respected and supported.

We can honor our history without standing still. Together, we can build the next chapter of the North Hills Art Center, keeping artists, creativity, and community at the heart of everything we do.
