The observatory hosted a Teen Talk with Jim Green, retired chief scientist of NASA. He brought with him Mike Fincke, a Pittsburgh native who recently returned from the ISS.

These ladies represent a group of high school students who did an amazing project in a very short timeline. They won an international award and will receive a telescope from CERN signed by multiple Nobel Prize winners.

Dr. Jay Apt talked about his spacewalks at the Teen Science Cafe. Afterwards the teens led activities, watched the ISS pass overhead and gave tours of the observatory.
