It may not be Christmas yet, but it's already Mardi Gras season at The Silver Apple.

Opening today is Laura Tabakman's wonderful world of tiny polymer clay vessels, each with its own hallucinatory bouquet, weightlessly lifted to the heavens on spindly wire.

Each one is a magical delight, but to see the full collection en toto takes sock-knocking-off to a whole new plane.

"Mardi Gras" will be up for all of December.

New in the gallery!
Kim Ciaburri Breit 's "Nature Abounds" is a terrific collection of the artist's wonderful collages executed on repurposed correspondence and photo slides of visions both tranquil and fantastic. Get your eyeballs over to Main Street to see all the little scenes in all their glory. The full show is up now through Oct. 15.

Up today! Lauren Lampe’s “Totems: Emergence, Prosperity & Company” is a little bit woodsy and a little bit witchy—just as things should be on this eve of the haunting season. Come on by when you’re in the Ville. Show is up through the end of the month. Front porch reception next weekend—more on that later.
