As a personal stylist, I think about this often. AI can recommend outfits, identify trends, and generate shopping suggestions in seconds. Those tools can be incredibly helpful. But style is about so much more than assembling clothing.

The truth is, you don't need to chase every trend to have great style. In fact, trying to keep up with every new look can leave your wardrobe feeling less authentic.

That said, I do believe it's important to stay aware of what's current. Understanding today's silhouettes, proportions, and styling helps keep your wardrobe feeling fresh without constantly buying something new.

More often than not, it isn't about replacing your closet, it's about reimagining it. A fresh combination, a different silhouette, or a new way of styling pieces you already own can completely change how you feel about getting dressed.

A common phrase I hear from my clients is “Summer is so HARD!”

It’s hot. We’re miserable. It’s hard to think about clothes at all. On top of that, if we wear less clothing for comfort, it often means exposing parts of our bodies that we are uncomfortable showing. We feel like we are on display. And we hate it.

Fear not! I am here to offer advice and inspiration that will not only offer a reframe for the season, but actually get you excited to put some of these tips into action.

For our summer wardrobe, the garment reigns supreme. Because we aren’t layering, we must put thought and consideration into the garment itself.
