Make it a point to visit Existence in Contrast at Wick Monet, opening Wednesday, August 7th, from 6-8 PM. Curated by Cornelius Martin, this exhibition features works by James Grossman, Heather Heitzenrater, Maximilian Le Cain, and Cameron.click, focusing on the role of contrasts in our lives.
We are proud and humbled to be able to present these four artists. To have work of their caliber in a single show is a rare opportunity for Pittsburgh.

Workshop Two is in the books. The Pittsburgh art scene is about to change forever.
“Morgiana” is a stylish Czechoslovakian film by Juraj Herz. The film is an adaptation of the 1929 novel by Alexander Grin, titled Jessie and Morgiana.
I came across a still from this film and immediately fell in love. Later that night I watched it on Vimeo. “Morgiana” is not too scary and is full of beautiful shots! (Arthouse horror, decadent gowns, murder, pencil thin brows)
Feel free to have fun with costuming, makeup, etc.

Cats have been an important part of my life ever since I was a little girl. I currently am missing my two at home (Lovebug and Peter)!
Recently I got the chance to visit the Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery’s current exhibition: SLOW BLINK. This exhibition allowed me to feel the warmth and emotion that cats offer through the canvases in the space. I loved SLOW BLINK and its perspective on showing the impact a cat can have on a person’s life.

There is a feeling that authenticity can be found here. You see it in the graffiti panda left behind without a tag. This was a gift for the rest of us.
You get the sense that a restart is possible, or is that the confidence bleeding from that vintage store owner?
The Brick Lane Gallery has somehow captured this Shoreditch energy. Artists making their start, embracing the moment and keeping things fresh – That’s what they are about.
Wick Monet is headed to London!
Hi, my name is Bea Schneider, and I am currently a Marketer for Wick Monet! I will be in London for the next 6 weeks studying British Contemporary Film and Shakespeare. I want to learn more about independent film, fashion, and installation work. My goal as a Marketer is to take the digital space along with me, highlighting both the art spaces of London and the artists that beautify those spaces. Let me know if there are any places I should check out while I’m here!
