The Small Business Development Center at PIttsburg State University has asked us to reach out and gauge interest in this event. We are sharing an email from the director with you. Feel free to contact them directly, or email us back with any interest in the event.
Hello,
I wanted to reach out because AltCap will be in town on Friday, September 18th, and we're exploring the idea of hosting an event just for artists in our region.
AltCap runs a program called ArtCap, which provides funding specifically for artists — and this would be a chance to hear directly from them about how it works. The plan would be a short (about 15-minute) presentation, paired with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, so it'd be a relaxed, low-pressure way to learn more and ask questions.
Before we lock anything in, I'd love to know: would this be something you'd be interested in attending?
Just reply and let me know, and feel free to pass this along to any other artists who might want in. If there's enough interest, we'll follow up with a date confirmation and location details.
