Pinegrove Historical Society The Pinegrove Historical Society is a volunteer organization dedicated to preserving, displaying, collecting and publishing the history of Pine Grove
& Twps

Pinegrove (now called Pine Grove) is located in the southwest corner of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania just north of the Blue Mountain. Originally part of Berks County, the area was first settled by German settlers exploring the Swatara Creek. The town was incorporated in 1832 and became important as a transportation hub of the Union Canal, and later of the railroads, both of which carried coal from the county’s northern regions to Harrisburg, Reading, Philadelphia, and beyond. The town was host to a number of textile mills for many years. This industry provided many area residents with jobs. Farming, coal, brick and tanneries were some other industries in this area.

Very glad to have the invitation to attend this special event. Was a lot of fun and the Shooflies most definitely put their heart and soul into the music they make. 2026 Grossdaadi Grundsau Lodge.
