The Captured Energy Series started back in the early 80s when I first moved from California to a loft in Manhattan’s Soho area. This series is the largest and most developed with all the media and experimental materials I have used it covers, Large oil, stick and acrylic paintings, pastel drawings, pastel and fabric collages, encaustic painting, and monoprints. Hey Friends, Here is Radiant Rainbows! (acrylic on canvas 71x72") One of the large paintings from my Captured Energy Series, opening this Saturday March 2nd, 3:30-5:30 at the Gardiner Library, Gardiner NY 12525. This is my largest series stretching over 44 years, featuring several different media. Please come visit me at the opening. I will also be presenting an Artist Talk on Thursday the 7th of March, 6:30-7:30ish! Also on display are Heritage Series ceramics, some Sockettes soft sculptures and Little Littles in the display case in the lobby. Outside the Library in the Tiny Roost Gallery space... is a sculpture called "Bound By Tradition" from the Wood Spirit Series 18"Hx21x21" twigs, paper mache and wire. Please come view my artwork. Save the date!! January 13th 2024, 4-6pm “Eleanor Revisited” Art Opening at the Gardiner Library, 133 Farmers Turnpike, Gardiner, NY 12525. Join me in celebrating the life of Eleanor Roosevelt, one of my heroines, and the third subject from my Great American Women Series. Eleanor was the author of “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights” the standard used by the United Nations and all countries everywhere.
