Pickford Area Historical Museum

Pickford Area Historical Museum The Pickford Area Historical Society & Museum (PAHS) is located in a beautiful historic building (National Register of historic places) on Main Street.

Admission is free to view history dated back to 1877 with over 4000 artifacts. Established in 2001. Our exhibits include 4,000 artifacts showcasing our rich history in:

• lumbering/logging
• farming
• educational heritage
• early commerce
• military
• home arts and service clubs

Local churches take turns show-casing their history and private collections/hobbies round out our annual loan exhibit

s. The ancestral portrait wall frames an extensive collection of genealogies and other resource material for public perusal. The collections rotate in and out of archives to keep the exhibit floor fresh each year. We also have an interactive children's exhibit. The Pickford Quilters demonstrate hand quilting each summer. The quilts created from this demonstration are raffled the following summer.
