The Phoenix Trolley Museum is looking for new members to join our Board of Directors!
We have had a great year, which so far has included being named the “Best Museum You Probably Haven’t Visited” by the Phoenix New Times and receiving the Institutional Award of Excellence from the Museum Association of Arizona. We sure have come a long way since moving to Grand Avenue.
But we're not even close to being done yet! We have a number of urgent priority projects planned, which include protecting Car 116 from the rain and sun; getting air conditioning in the museum building; removing accessibility barriers; and developing our yard with interpretive exhibits and other enhancements.
But to accomplish these goals, we need people who are willing to help lead. Several long-serving Board members who have provided years of leadership and service are preparing to step back, creating an important opportunity for new volunteers to become part of the museum’s future. We are seeking five to seven additional Board members who want to help guide the organization during this exciting period of growth.
