Small Bear Designs

What did I want to be when I grew up? And that is what I became. For seven wonderful, fantastic, crazy fun years I had a Kindergarten classroom to call my very own. And then on Sunday, April 27, 2014 I took on the best new job I could have ever imagined and proudly yet hesitantly claimed my new title... Mommy. ready to add another title in conjunction with being Isaac Maxon's mom... that of an Artist. Though I have always been an artist, and I believe we are all artists from a very, very young age, it is not a title that I would have likened to being my job until right now. It pairs up perfectly with being Isaac's mommy, or I should really say that it pairs up perfectly with when Isaac takes his naps :-) I am so excited to share my painted creations here and to see how far I can spread some colorful, cheerful, painted love from our cozy little home base in South Philadelphia. This blog is meant to serve as a simple portfolio where I can showcase my painted works of art.. and maybe even Isaac's creations one day soon! And why Small Bear Designs? Because my mom used to (and still does) call me Small Bear sometimes! And you know what? I kind of like it! :-)
