"Using nature as my inspiration, I endeavor to create expertly crafted heirloom jewelry and vessels. As an artist I receive gratification from working in noble metals that some- day will be owned, displayed, utilized or worn by clients in their everyday life. It is my hope to have my artwork passed down from generation to generation." - Genevieve Flynn #ArtByHand #ContemporaryArt #MetalArt
The 58th Annual Visual Arts Center of Richmond Craft + Design Show is October 14-16! This popular contemporary craft show benefits educational and community arts programs at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond. The event is held in the renovated train shed at Main Street Station in downtown Richmond VA. Join us for a fun-filled weekend of craft, shopping, local food and beer. Tickets are on sale now at craftanddesignrva.com.
Our favorite part of our in-person show is getting to meet all of the artists--who are they, how they started in their craft, and what motivates and inspires them today. Take a moment to learn more about Gary Traczyk, a kinetic sculptor that will be exhibiting this weekend in Philadelphia.
