Check out what Matthew has to say about his hopes for [email protected], to generate more attention, as well as setting up his panhandling site in the same areas in which he had seen previous artists associated with Hungry for Art.
All the while hoping to garner similar attention and have similar success.
Matthew has stated that for years he has seen Jordan David Fennimore adamantly sell his art on the street, on th El Train , Old city, and throughout Center City.
Matthew feels that he may have similar success if he positions himself where he has seen Jordan Fennimore sell his art.
While he does not consider himself an artist, he is a very intrigued by the idea of learning how to become an artist.
I was quick to tell him that I believe that everyone is an artist and that I am more than willing to show him how to find the artist within him. For there is nothing to look for. The artist he is looking for already exists. To simply embrace the artist that he already is. Going with what he is comfortable with , while overlooking any fears or blog kids he is created to convince himself otherwise, in regards to believing that he is " not an artist" . He is extremely excited about the concept of Hungry for Art, and I found it very touching that he claims that he was actually concerned that it is an idea that has been abandoned. All because I have decided to personally take a few months off.
My choice for personal time is to regroup as well as assess what type of difference I have actually made thus far. And what I can see it is a profound difference.
Where I found it to be that I was the only artist seemingly in Center City, old city and beyond adamantly selling my art day in and day out on the street as well as various other locations in Philadelphia, always disappointed by the lack of like-minded people willing to put it all out there – to be judged and appreciated alike. Not that I was the only artist out there, but there was very few of us breaking the groun
Different tips I use for different uses while etching-->
