Meet the artist!

Nicole Banowetz is a Denver sculptor who makes sewn inflatable sculptures. Her artwork addresses vulnerability, struggle, and are inspired by the natural world. She empowers objects by embellishing them by adding protective layers that through time become destructive. Her forms move freely between growth and decay blurring the distinction between decoration and disease.

Visit us to experience Nicole's artwork Erupture. Link in bio to book tickets.

What do you hope to do before you die? Travel to a dream destination? Fall in love? See your favorite musician live in concert?

Before I Die is a global participatory public art project originally created by artist Candy Chang in New Orleans after the death of a loved one. As word spread about this project, Candy Chang was able to facilitate versions of Before I Die in communities from 75 countries. The result was a global phenomenon that The Atlantic called "one of the most creative community projects ever."

Book your visit this weekend to share what you hope to accomplish. Link in bio for tickets.

Wonderspaces PHL

Based in California, Wonderspaces launched in 2016 to bridge the gap between artists and new audiences. Our mission is to cultivate shared understanding through shared experiences, and with each show, Wonderspaces creates a place where people can connect with art and with each other. To that end, Wonderspaces will open a permanent 24,000 square foot gallery space in Philadelphia this January with POINT OF VIEW. Our inaugural show will feature fourteen experiential and participatory art installations from artists from around the world, with each work focusing on the theme of perspective. Discounted early bird holiday gift tickets for POINT OF VIEW are available now and for a limited time at philadelphia.wonderspaces.com. To learn more, follow @wonderpaces and @wonderspacesphl on social & visit Wonderspaces.com.
