"A must-see if you are in Philadelphia! Fun, unique, and engaging. The staff are very nice and knowledgable, happy to discuss the exhibits. You can also scan QR codes throughout the space to learn more about the pieces and the artists. The Dinner Party virtuality reality exhibit was by far my favorite. That one alone was worth the admission price. Can't wait to go back!"- Leah K

Two giant, generic, yet iconic Thank You Bags are inflated by fans, making them bulbous and filled to capacity with nothing inside except air. To amplify these icons is to warrant introspection to something we often dismiss: the excess of capitalism and its residual environmental waste by being caught in its beauty.

New Artwork Alert!

Plume by Ian Brill is an immersive, interactive dome of synchronized light and sound gestures. The installation uses motion, sound, and color to present an ephemeral and ethereal ecosystem.

Pittsburgh resident Ian Brill's work focuses on the accumulation of form through process. Through the creation of interactive, performative and multi-sensorial environments, he considers boundaries of becoming (versus being) and our immersive relationship with technology. Plume was created by Ian with support from The Pittsburgh Foundation.

Rainbow Rooms by Pierre le Riche is estimated to contain 20 miles of yarn. There is so much yarn, and so much tension on it, that it can bend the metal bars it is mounted on. Pierre likes this metaphor of something soft attaining strength in numbers.

Wonderspaces PHL

Based in California, Wonderspaces launched in 2016 to bridge the gap between artists and new audiences. Our mission is to cultivate shared understanding through shared experiences, and with each show, Wonderspaces creates a place where people can connect with art and with each other. To that end, Wonderspaces will open a permanent 24,000 square foot gallery space in Philadelphia this January with POINT OF VIEW. Our inaugural show will feature fourteen experiential and participatory art installations from artists from around the world, with each work focusing on the theme of perspective. Discounted early bird holiday gift tickets for POINT OF VIEW are available now and for a limited time at philadelphia.wonderspaces.com. To learn more, follow @wonderpaces and @wonderspacesphl on social & visit Wonderspaces.com.
